Directions to Rist Canyon Mountain Cabin  2200 N County Rd 41, Bellvue CO 80512

North of Fort Collins in Laporte, just past Vern’s Place 
(4120 W County Road 54G  Laporte, CO 80535), 

Go left/West on Rist Canyon Road (aka County Road 52) approx 13 Miles. 

At the very top of the mountain (after the heavy switchbacks and a little ways past mile marker 16) take an immediate left on to County Road 41.  (you will see several mail boxes at this intersection and the Keller Williams sign).

Follow dirt road past the radio towers until you come to big a iron gate, (there will be a wooded sign that has the names of several places, like, Tip Top Ranch and Buckhorn camp).  Go through the gate and follow road (staying to your left) toward Tip Top Ranch. (the road will be getting rougher).

Drive through the ranch and past the main buildings and horse corrals will be another cattle guard, turn left just past cattle guard and go towards Buckhorn Camp. 

Follow dirt road, past the old tractor, take your next left (you will see the wood welcome sign for Buckhorn Camp—go left just before this sign).

As you follow the road you will see several big green trash dumpsters,  past those take your next left (you will see another wooden sign for the Homestead L8 place, turn left just after this sign, it will seem like you are going down more of a trail than a road, but this is the lane to the cabin, there will be a big red barn and some other buildings on your right).

Follow little road all the way to the end and you will be at the cabin!

It is worth the drive!!  The views are awesome!!
